Sony’s new compact wireless speaker SRS-XB100 now available in Europe

Sony Europe has today announced that its new compact wireless speaker – the SRS-XB100 – is available across Europe. The SRS-XB100 packs powerful, clear sound into a portable body. If you love good music and listening with friends, the SRS-XB100 is your perfect partner. 

Take powerful sound anywhere 

The XB100 speaker is everything you need for life on the move. It includes a passive radiator for powerful sound and offers clear sound even at high volumes thanks to the off-center diaphragm. Don't be fooled by its compact shape, this little speaker packs an impressive wide spreading sound. The Sound Diffusion Processor expands sound in any space, with its DSP technology. ​ 

Let nothing hold you back

You can enjoy your music for longer as the XB100 has up to 16 hours of battery life¹, is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating² and comes with a durable exterior and multi-way strap so it’s perfect for life on the go. Whether you’re at home or out and about, the built-in microphone lets you enjoy hands-free calling straight through your speaker. And you can count on better, clearer calls with Echo Cancelling, which allows two people to talk at the same time without cutting off either of them. ​ 

Environment in mind 

Sony’s products are not only made pursue sound quality, but also consider the environment. The SRS-XB100 body and strap are partially made from recycled plastic materials³ for its body and multiway strap. No plastics are used in the SRS-XB100 packaging material. This reflects how Sony strives to reduce the environmental impact of our products. 

Pricing and availability  

The SRS-XB100 will be available from August for approximately €65/£60.
