sony rx100vii not working

Hi, I have had my sony rx100vii for a couple of months and I have not used it that much. However, the flash has stopped working it pops up but when I go to the flash modes they are all greyed out. Then this message keeps popping up saying "E:91:01" which happens in the middle of the screen and I cannot get rid of it. I have reset my settings and initialized a complete reset or the camera and I have reformatted the SD card I have taken the batteries out and tried new ones, turned it on and off and tried messing around with most of the settings but nothing seems to work! Very disappointing does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

The E:91:01 error code can be due to a flash or battery problem.  As you have mentioned you've already tried a reset, can you take the battery out for about 60 seconds, then replace it and turn the camera back on.  If you're still experiencing issues then I would recommend getting in touch with the support team here.
