Sony Cybershot DSC-W210 line through battery

Hi,

I purchased this Sony camera, and I have fully charged the battery, however after 30 seconds of use, the screen goes black and flashes with a battery icon with a line through it. Do I need to buy a new battery pack? Or is it the cameras fault?
