RX10 Mk4 and iPhone

Can someone tell me if my camera should auto connect with the iPhone when using geotagging or do I have to connect it every time the camera powers down?

Correct, I find I need to pair my IPhone and camera every time I switch on or the camera shuts down to save power, I was wondering if this was normal or was I doing something wrong.

I believe you'll need to pair them every time. Have you tried connecting them via the WiFi option?

Many thanks for replying, I actually contacted Sony's customer service and they said the same as you, I have to pair it every time. Hopefully the RX10 MKV will have a built in geotagging.
