Filter for Sony DSC-HX400V

I have fitted a Lumos CPL together with slim MC UV filter and find that it appears to have affected focussing.

Has anyone else experienced problems with filters.  Incidentally I also found a similar proble with the Fuji S1 but put it down to the need for a special fitment for filters.

There is no thread on a sony HX400V 

How do you fit a filter to it ?

The filter fits where the lens cap is when the camera isn't in use if that makes any sense.
