i have a dsc-f717 and i`m have trouble connecting it to my pc do i need software and drivers to download images via usb .i`ve already downloaded pm home but it just asked me to turn on my camera also my pc doesn't recognise it can somebody help please simon.

Hi Simon,

Usually you don't need any drivers or software to copy pictures from your camera to your PC.

Please ensure that the USB mode of the camera is set to "normal".

In addition please check if the cable you're using is capable of transferring data (some cables are meant for charging only and cannot transfer data).
