connecting Sony cyber shot DSC-WX500 to a windows 11 PC

i am trying to connect Sony DSC-WX500 to my new windows 11 PC but cannot get it to recognise the camera connection.  can any one suggest next steps.   Used to work fine on windows 10 old PC
