Hello! I used to be able to connect my cam recorder to an old television a long time ago. The tv was old and had all the necessary inputs for me to connect the camera properly. However, I now have a new tv, and it has no holes for the audio and for the image. It only has the option to insert a HDMI cable or an usb cable. Is there a way for me to see my old tapes by using the camera connected to my tv? Maybe there a toggle available that I'm not aware exists? Thank you.
The Model of "new TV"?
Hallo,
I think that if you have a 2RCA to SCART adapter supplied with the camera, you only need a FEMALE SCART to HDMI adapter (Input=the male scart, Output=female hdmi).
It's a Samsung (model UE43TU7005K), and the only possible way to connect the old camera to this new tv is through an hdmi port. I already purchased a cable with audio and video connectors at the end of the cable (red yellow and white), also bought an AV to HDMI adaptor. Connected it all and it simply doesn't work. Only sound comes out of the tv. Here are the two items o bought recently:
