Camcoder files have no audio in Windows Media Player

I have downloaded the videos I've taken with my Sony DCR-SX73E using the PMB application onto my computer (Windows XP).

When I play back the videos using PMB the audio is fine.

When I play back the videos using Windows Media Player or Creative Media Player, the video is fine but there is no audio.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

I have the same problem, i can transfer the video to my PC but it doesnt have any sound at all.  Have you been able to fix yours?  if so how?
