Do you have to have YouView enabled to access the catch-up apps such as C4, ITV and 5?

This is known to happen when you skip questions in setup; the official YouView advice is:-
“This is due to you not having ticked all the boxes during set up in regards to the privacy policy on the Sony TVs.
We would suggest performing a factory reset on the TV and going through the set up again ensuring you've checked through all the set up info and ticked the privacy policy boxes. Once you've done this you should be able to watch content on these apps without any issues.”
Ok did a factory reset and it now works thank you very much. Only problem the whole process took about two hours because of all the set up changes I had made had to be made again, its a pity you can't save customer settings somehow.
