Voice search using Sideview on iOS

Hi,

I have been trying to use voice search with the Sideview app on my iPhone. The TV registers when I press the microphone "button" in the app but doesn't seem to register what I'm saying.

Is this even supported on iOS? I have noticed that the Sideview app haven't requested access to the microphone on my iPhone, so I'm thinking that this feature doesn't work... If not, then it's very misleading that the feature is even in the app...

After a lot of reserch I solved this problem. 

Here is the solution: 

Google has launched an App on iTunes for iPhones called as Android TV. 

Download that and delete TV sideview App.

It works like magic with Sony Andriod TV.  Since this  APP is from Google itself , its extremly refined and does the job very efficinetly. Voice Search ask for Mic Permission on my iPhone 6 Plus and then I am all set. 

You can keep both the APP as well if you have extra space on your iPhone 🙂
