Sony XH90/X900h VRR and ALLM
Hi, there are a lot of rumours, including responses from costumer service advisors and amended webpages that suggest VRR and ALLM support via a firmware update will no longer be coming, can anyone confirm this?
This is my first Sony TV and I can genuinely say communication around well known issues with the TV has been dreadful.
Thanks

I purchased from curry’s in September so I’m well out of my return window now. Without anything official from Sony I’m not sure how interested they will be in refunding the item. Let us know how you get on if you do speak to them about a return outside your window.

i am going to give them a few days to get back to me, but an option i am considering ( and would make sense if there is a few of us), is to contact the BBC with information regarding this practice and if enough of us message, we might get them to publish an article about this and get a response from Sony ( again hoping they get back to us first)
to be clear ive been a happy sony customer for many years, and im happy to wait a bit longer for some of these features, but a clear response and assurance is what im after.

It seems like Sony UK have been denying any changes to ALLM and VRR updates

Reply from Sony UK on twitter:
Hi,
The listing has not been removed as our engineers are working on the features to be included in a future software update and you can find the listing here: https://t.co/ue4TJF5ulI. You may also find more information here: https://t.co/WmM91eh4rm.
Regards,
Seif

I also bought this tv specifically for PS5. I would NOT have purchased it if VRR and ALLM were never going to be upgraded on it.

"Sony clarified that they have not canceled VRR and that all support information will be updated to reflect this."
