Sony TV Hoogle TV and movies app wont load fully or play any saved movies

Hi I have a sony TV with pre installed Google Play TV and movies. When i try to run this app it wont load fully ie wont show full list of movie genres etc - wont play my saved movies. 

I have done rest using the remote control, turned on-off etc

Any other ideas? Thanks for suggestions
