Bought TV and Sony Soundbar in December 2017, the TV started blinking every 4-6 mins (i actually sat down with a timer). We did not lose sound just the picture. Issue was whilst watching Sky or any online content over the Wi-Fi such as Netflix/Amazon etc. Used brand new HDMI cables. TV and Sounbar connected correctly.
Sony advised to check x,y,z did so even did factory reset, this did not fix the issue so Sony shipped a replacement TV which was great BUT I am now having the same problems with the replacement. I have noticed the blinking also occurs whilst you are doing a factory reset which would suggest to me there is a bug in the 'system software' somewhere. Will be calling Sony for support again.
Any advice to fix the issue would be appreciated.

No real Tech advise to fix the problem. A replacement TV on its way as its still under warranty and the order is just over one month.
