Problem with screen aspect ratio on movies recorded from USB on SONY Bravia KD-55XD8577

Hello guys, 

i have SONY Bravia KD-55XD8577 smart TV and I have little problem with movies recorded from USB key or external disc drive. Every time I turn on movie in resolution 1920x800 or 2160x1600 I get deformed strain screen and movie is not watchable. When I am setting different aspect ratio in  TV options it changes ratio only in satelite television programs not for movies recorded from USB. Is there any way to record movies in 1920x800 or 2160x1600 from USB and set screen ratio to normal and  not deformed screen ?

1920x1080 and 3840x2160 works fine but find movies in these resolutions is hard

Hi there

I have removed your other post that was in the 'Other TV' board section, as your issue relates to 'Android TV'.

In regards to your problem, is it the same as this one?
