Problem with BBCiplayer and ITV Hub / TV Model KD-55XD8005

Ref- TV Model KD-55XD8005

BBCiplayer and ITV hub will no longer load unless the tv is unplugged and turned on again. This has only happened after the latest Sony software update and all other apps are fine- any solutions are appreciated- it’s a really a pain having to unplug the TV everytime we want to use these apps...

Have tried resetting, software updates and clearing the cache but sill no luck I’m afraid.. will keep trying!

I thought you might be interested to know that the above problem has finally been fixed by changing the router. It seems that whilst the previous broadband speed was ok for 95% of Sony Apps, it was no longer adequate for BBC iplayer the and ITV hub.  I’m not sure how this may or may not relate to the Sony software update- but anyway, it now works.  Thanks very much for all your help and suggestions!
