No BBC iPlayer, ITV and Freeview play (Channel 100) on Model XR-55X90J

Just bought this Sony model (google tv) from John Lewis only to find after connecting it all up it does not have BBC Iplayer, ITV and Freeview play (Channel 100).   Does anyone know how to get it or do sony plan to provide these features in the near future.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

It's a known problem and unfortunately waiting for a software update to resolve. There's a long thread about this subject

An update was promised for 2021 and as of last week CH5 player appeared but iplayer and ITV and CH4 no players yet... hopefully soon.

Someone in that thread said they got a £49 voucher credit from John Lewis after complaining, that allowed them to buy a Firestick or Roku stick as a temporary solution, so I would get onto JL and complain and see what they say. This issue dates back to the model's release in May 2021
