I’ve had this set for a week now and having difficulty accessing channel 264. The issue I’ve got is not the absence of the required channel from the guide rather the functionality that it supports in the UK. The channel provides an automatic link to a portal supporting the services provided by TVVision UK.
This was present on old Sony but not this latest one.
When I try to load the app ‘TVVISION TV’ via the Google interface I get a message;
‘Sony BRAVIA 4K UR3. This is not compatible with your device’
The software is up to date (V6.4960) and Customer Support are directing me towards a physical inspection by a Sony engineer.
As I am within the ‘return window’ of my supplying stores police, is there a solution to this issue or should I just exchange it for a Samsung where the functionally is currently available?
Hi @blforde
If the app isn't compatible with your TV, then the feature isn't officially supported.

Thanks so much for your input.
What puzzles me is my old Sony supports this application via channel 264. And while the channel is available on my new set it just displays a blank screen. I’m not too conversant with the latest technologies but I assumed that as the TV’s OS is Android I thought I could possibly ‘load’ apps such as the ’VisionTV uk’ that supports the functionality I’m seeking.
I can achieve it on my iPhone and an old android phone.
I believe you're referring to side-loading apps. While it's possible to do, it's not officially supported. So in case the app still refuses to run. Not much else can be done about it.
Really appreciate your patients and input on this problem.
What I’m struggling with, is the fact that my older sets have this feature yet it’s absent from a new £1000 unit. And at the same time I can purchase a Manhattan HD Freeview box for £35 providing this functionality.
I could buy one but this adds to cable clutter, additional remotes, all of which leaves me rather frustrated with my new Sony.
