Hello,
I have connected my new TV (KD75XD9405) to the soundbar (HT-XT3) via HDMI ARC and everything worked fine, but just for couple of days. One morning when turning on there was no sound although everything looked normal. After disconecting and reconnecting of the HDMI cable it started to work again. Eversince it stops and goes every cople of days in the same way, which is very irritating.
does somebody knows what could cause this and how to get rid of this issue?
Thanks in advance
Hi there
Have a read through this guide below and see if it helps you:

I have also moved your post to the Android TV section (out of general chat).
Cheers
I have somewhat similar issue with external amplifier, also via HDMI ARC. Despite trying many things suggested in this forum and by Sony support, it still happens every few days for me.
Short answer: there is nothing what you could do, apart from waiting for next release of firmware. You can try different HDMI cable - it might change something, but chance isn't very big.
Additional bits:
After a lot of digging in the Kodi/SPMC debug logs I have possibly found something interesting.

After that series of notices and errors, I'm loosing audio passthrough and sound is being switched back to TV speakers.
I can't get logs from Netlfix or YouTube apps, but since end result is the same, I would assume it's not SPMC fault, but rather TV fault.
I can't be sure, but it looks like the HDMI connected devices are loosing time sync - and when that happens, connection is broken, so TV assumes there is no audio system connected.
I've sent all of this to Sony support, but I don't have a feeling it will change anything soon.
