I have now re formatted my usb drive to xfat and the files play fine.

Only issue I'm having since the software upgrade is when watching the TV it keeps going to usb drive detected by itself when the usb has not been removed.

Any help would be appreciated

Does it do that with all USB ports?

I have now discovered that the usb drive was defective.

Replaced and as of now all is OK.
