My KD-55XD9305 got yesterday an horizontal line on the screen (and I thought initially its the broadcast...), see image.
Also the screen in on/off washed / blurred when moving between inputs or Apps.
I opened a ticket with Sony support.
Any advise from the forum on such?
BTW 2nd issue on this unit since purchased back in Dec 2016... it was a circuit malfunction, main board was replaced... now this one...

Clear hardware issue, ring up Sony. They will offer a replacement as second problem.
Called them this morning, They saw the images I've sent, and offered an immediate replacement, apparently no longe XD, an XE93 is on its way!!
Happy to say it was a smooth and excellent service by Sony this time. Happy.

Can I ask if this line was permanent or came and went a few times?
Sony tech support are telling me it's software related if it isn't permanent. Been having this plus a tonne of other issues.
The screen is blurred/washed and it comes and goes, however the line is permanent.
