KD-49X8305C Software update crash 64%

Contacted Sony - all their attempts failed.

I tried installing the latest firmware update V2605 online through TV( I have 150Mb cable), also downloaded the firmware and put onto a USB(tried the two file method also).

Every time, via TV setting software update, the download crashes at 64%(states "An error occurred during the software update, . The update server in temporarily unavailable. Please try again later Error: 2123).

The usb( usb slot 1 and 2 tried) method also crashes out into reboot at about 64% too.

Downloaded the firmware numerous time.

Any ideas ?

I have tried downloading updates and it stopped at 96% . Turned off tv and
started again this time 100% . Sony says if download is not successful it
retains Old firmware and does not effect tv operation. Hope this helps

I have a KD-55s8505c sony bravia tv with firmware 2.257.0010 and can't update to the latest version for the life of me.

Downloading the software update i get error 2123 - update server temporarily unavailable and using a stick is apparently not doing the job either.

It says it detects new software, reboots as if it did the update but the version is still the same.

Tried it with a Fat32 stick as well as with a NTFS one, on USB 2.0 as well as 3.0 and still no luck.

I also factory reseted the box.

I hope that you can help me, that's the cause of this message.
