Is upscaling on by default (X85C)

Set the box up late last night, and couldnt see any obvious settings to enable any sort of upscaling, so just assume it is on by default...

Is this the case?

The answer is yes, the TV have to fill all the pixels even if they are not present. You can set different option in the reality creation setting in order to adapt the way the processor use to optimize the image
