Google TV app and XR A95k

Hi, A95k is set up fine, shows up in Google Home and voice assistant works fine etc, can use the Sony remote to operate Sky Q so all is connected 

When I open the Google TV app on my phone and try and operate as a remote it can't find the TV, and I check Google Home and I've noticed a message on it saying 'full remote not available '

Does anyone know how to link the Google TV app so I've got full functionality
