Hi I have a TV button shortcut on my A90k bravia remote and it’s linked to the youview live tv and catch up, when I press it now it says “Feature not available because this app is disabled”, I have been through the settings and made sure the app is enabled and works if manually selected but it still tells me it is unable because it is disabled through the remote. The button works when ported to the other digital tv app but not youview, would really like this to be working correctly. I can possibly factory reset but would not like to set up all again leaving this message so hopefully Sony may see this because i feel it is an update issue it worked before for me but has since stopped working, thanks any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

And yes seem to happen after a software update.
I have also tried disabling and re-enabling the app, re-setting the remote but nothing solved the issue.
I'd rather not do a factor reset as it was a pain to set the TV up in the first place especially as I use 'normal' TV to record programs to a hard disc and getting that all to work was somewhat challenging. The TV is generally great but the interface is pretty awful!
If Sony have caused the problem with an update, they should fix it with another update.
My TV (XR-55X90L) updated last night and I immediately noticed the TV button would no longer take me to Youview - 'feature not available because this app is disabled'. Tried doing the obvious things with no success. I'll hold off from doing a reset, since I've only had the TV a couple of weeks and have just got everything how I want it ☹️ Do Sony monitor these pages? - I presume not.
Same issue for me on 43” KD-43X89 after the software update. Fully agree if Sony caused this by the update they should fix it via new update. I don’t want to factory reset for something which should be easily fixable.

Update : Got fed up and decided to do a Factory Reset. Can offer additional confirmation the reset fixes the issue.
I have just bought a x89K and this is also having issues with the tv button ported to youview saying disabled such grief!!

I see that Sony have now acknowledged that a software update has caused this issue and that they are working on a software fix.
After installing 3 TV's this morning I can confirm that the latest software update is still altering the TV button functionality.
A full factory reset has brought all three TV's back to working order.
Unbelievably, Sony release software without testing. It's incredible that this glaring and obvious bug has not been picked up on beta testing. I'm guessing it's a unique issue to the UK market and the Youview app but still, very poor. When is the fix coming as I'm not spending hours setting up my TV again because you can't be bothered to put updates through proper testing.
