Connecting Bravia W70c to Humax Fox T2 via HDMI cable

i have recently pitches a new Bravi W70C 40 inch Smart TV. I am trying to feed my Humax FoxT2 into it via HDMI cable but for some reason TV does not find it on any of the HDMI ports......

Anybody have any views on the correct way to set this up please

I think I saw somewhere that the connections need to be made before turning on the power. You could leave things as they are and try a reset, by holding down the power button on the remote, which will also do a restart. No settings will be lost.
