Can’t connect Alexa to Sony Bravia FX87

Hi guys,

ive just got myself a Sony Bravia android tv FX87 and trying to connect to Alexa via a echo dot 3rd Gen.

ive the Alexa app in my iPhone working and in the skills section, it says I’m linked with Sony Bravia

I’ve also done what was asked from home section of the tv , when prompted to ask Alexa to enable Sony tv is says I’m linked and to follow instructions from the Alex app , I do so then when I have to ask Alexa to find my devices both the tv and phone app can’t found find device .

ive done everything possible from other chats including....... factory reset, open and closing app , correct google account, setting network time, enabling permissions on tv Alexa app in contacts ........ I’m lost can anyone help or had this problem resolved?????????
