Bluetooth pairing problems

Hello,

Upon the last update (Ver 7, Kernel 3.10.78) my 55XE8505 is unable to detect any new bluetooth device, including the B&O A6 speaker. Itt used to work properly prior to the update, but stopped producing the sound, so I unpaired it and never was able to detect it again in order to pair. Also tried detecting Apple Magic Trackpad without success, though the Apple's wireless keyboard is paired and operational.

Tried soft reset, rebooting all devices including TV, nothing helps.

Any suggestion?

Hi Alex,

Welcome to the Sony Community. 

Can you make sure that your Bluetooth device has sufficient battery remaining to pair with your TV.

It might be also worth checking if your TV has the latest software update.  If you still can't pair the device it might be best to perform a reset. You can find more details on how to do this here.

Hi Sean, I had to switch the Bluetooth off and on for a couple of times to finally hook the audio system up. Yet the audio synch function does not properly  work, making the my B&O A6 always lag behind, whether enabled or disabled. Thank you anyway!
