Apple airplay update xg9005

Hello

I’ve noticed there’s talk of Sony 2020 TVs getting apple airplay included out the box and that there is a software update for some older TVs? I’m hoping (Presuming) an updated Is available for my 2019 49” xg9005? If so is there anything specific I need to do to access the update? And if no update why not..?!

Because newer 2020 products have the newer Mediatek processor used on fewer model in 2019. Not in yours. And you didn't buy an airplay compatible product, didn't you?
