AirPlay from MacBook to Sony Bravia TV

Hi,

I am trying to connect my MacBook and iPhone11 to my Sony Bravia TV to stream videos and Sky Sports etc, but the airplay function on both the phone and MacBook isn't picking up the TV.

I have the latest versions running on both devices but still no luck.

The Chromecast for the BT Sport App works fine however.

Any advice would be great.

I've just tried my iPhone and this works ok, but my MacBook isn't picking up the TV?

So airplay is working now without you doing nothing?

Yes, the problem was trying to connect my laptop to the tv via airplay

Sorry I didn't get that the iPhone was already working. Try to check the firmware version otherways you should check which difference there are between th macbook and the iPhone (i.e. same network connection, firewall, etc.). Nothing to do with the TV IMHO
