Hi! Firstly, I'm not totally sure right now of the TV's model, since it's my parents', but it seems to me it is the A8H model, which further seems to be called A85 in Europe - I'm from Finland. The issue is major lag and eventually possible freezing of the system, if the remote is connected via Bluetooth; it's either the remote, or just having Bluetooth enabled in general. The TV works normally without Bluetooth, but the gradually worsening lag phenomenon may occur when Bluetooth is on, but I'm not sure what exactly triggers this. The remote's firmware has been updated this year, while I'm going to check the firmware of the TV soon enough - I already have the latest on my USB stick (6.6152). Just recently, trying to update the remote's firmware via the TV was unsuccessful, so I'm not sure if I'm able to do that if there is no other way.
Is this a common issue? Has anyone faced it here? Any solutions? Should Sony take note?
I might add that no other Bluetooth devices have ever been connected to the TV as far as I know and having the remote connected via Bluetooth to use the microphone on it is a feature that has been used and appreciated. The TV is the 55 inch model.
