49X8309 No Longer Allows Simultaneous Recording Of 2 Channels

Hi all,

I've noticed that since maybe 6 months ago our 49X8309 TV no longer allows simultaneous recording of 2 channels (both Freeview+satellite & 2 satellite). Prior to that, I often recorded 2 channels over the same time period, so I know it used to work.

I've got the latest Sony Android software (it tells me that), I've restarted the TV, retuned satellite tuners and checked/confirmed it's in twin satellite tuner mode. I have no idea what to do next - I can't comprehend just leaving it as it is. HELP, ANYONE!!!

No Sony tv ever permitted recording two programs at the same time, the only possibility is (for those tv having twin tuner and not putting the whole code of your tv is not possible to determine this) to watch a different program while recording. I do not know how did this before since it should not be possible
