Sony NEX-F3

Hi,

I have just purchased a Sony NEX-F3 and a 7artisans 24mm f/1.4 - Sony E Fit lens

This shows as a compatible lens online but i keep getting an error on the camera that the lens is not recognised.

Can anyone confirm this should work and possibly why it isnt...
