Sony firmware updater MacOS 13.0

I have tried the Sony A1 firmware updater Update_ILCE1V131.dmg on an M1 Mac running MacOs Ventura 13.0 ... it glitches out saying 'The camera is connected, please disconnect the camera' then mouse and keyboard input to the Mac becomes difficult forcing a hard restart.

I see that the firmware updater Update_ILCE1V131.dmg is only compatible with MacOS 12 ... is it a known problem that the firmware updater does not work in MacOS 13 ... and will there be an updated version soon?

@chargingarc, it seems that the firmware is only compatible with these macOS versions: 10.15, 11, & 12. You can try to restart both devices and check again, but I'd actually recommend updating the firmware with another PC that meets their system requirements

Im having lots of problems upgrading the firmware on my Mac and am seriously considering selling all my Sony stuff and changing brands. I cant stand the lack of connectivity.
