Flash Guns for a Sony Alpha 580

Hi ,

I have returned to photography after a long break, having accumulated a couple of Minolta Film Cameras

along the way.  I have a Minolta Flash Gun (program 3200i ) Could somebody advise if I can use it with my new Alpha 580 ? I am reluctant to try, in case I damage the camera !.

Sadly, it is not compatible with the digital SLR cameras.

I would recommend the HVL-F42AM if your looking for a new flash gun.
