YouTube video unpauses automatically Xperia 5 iii

Sometimes when I pause a YouTube video, it unpauses by itself after a second or so. It might be due to a ghost click from the screen protector I use, but I am curious if others experience this as well?

Yup, I had this recently, as well as 4k videos on the 1iii pausing for a few seconds while sound continued.

Basically, the latest YouTube update is garbage and is a broken mess.

Go into settings, apps, find YouTube, uninstall updates.

Then go in play store and untick "automatic updates" for a few months.

Should work fine then, until Google fix it anyway
