Xperia 1 IV Side sense missing

The Side sense bar has disappeared on my phone since the last update. 

I have checked the Side sense settings and it is definitely turned on.  Does anyone have any idea how to make it reappear or is this a Sony software update issue? Thanks

Try to force restart your device and check again?

Also, try safe mode and check if it will be resolved inside safe mode or not?
