Problem connection

I bought Sony Xperia 1 iii, and tried connecting to my PC. But my pc not accepting new phone.

Try a different cable. There are some usb c cables that are only charge capable,

Does it detect the phone but it gives you an error message or it doesn't detect the phone at all?
