I have the same problem as everybody has spoke to someone at Sony yesterday and they did not tell me there was a problem. Very cross as I spent most of yesterday trying to sort it out but as I am 68 years old I am afraid not that technical ,then as i thought it had broken was then looking for a new one to be told by Sony that they do not make one anymore.

Thank goodness I have now found the comminityto know that it is not just me I just hope I understand how to rectify the problem when Sony have sorted it out

there will be thousands of people affected by it

once the fix is issued I am sure some kind soul will update your recorder for you, if you are in manchester I would do so free of charge, once I know mine are working ok

lets see how sony get on with fixing it before the doom and gloom sets in
