just tried to turn on dvd recorder not working, no remote working nothing except UPDATE does anyone know whats wrong

yes, just read through the other threads and you will get an idea what is going on, and a temporary solution to the problem by setting the location to france instead of the uk and doing without the epg

then its wait for sony to fix it for all of us, seeing as thousands of recorders are affected
