RDR-HXD870 stuck in update mode since yesterday afternoon!

Hi everyone, it is nice to know that I am not alone in this....my DVD recorder started acting up yesterday afternoon. Since then I have been trying to fix it by wading through the internet, and then subsequently turning it off at the mains for 30mins etc, and finally trying to do firmware updates all to no avail. Really fed up now and just posted on Sony's facebook page to tell them to pull their finger out and do something - perhaps if we all tweet and post on FB something may actually happen. This will already be the last Sony product I buy 😞

Make sure you use the UK facebook page Claire. Hardy anyone has bothered to complain on it.
