Projector VPL-VW95ES - throw distance calculation

Hi,

According to the manual for this projector, to calculate the min & max throw distances the formulae are:

L (minimum) = 31.1781 (1 7/32) × diagonal screen size – 46.1543 (1 13/16)
L (maximum) = 47.0644 (1 27/32) × diagonal screen size – 42.3308 (1 21/32)

If I understand correctly, the numbers in brackets are for the calculation in inches so the other numbers are for millimetres.

However, using the values from the table that the two formulae are associated with and it doesn't appear to add up.

e.g. using a value of 1016mm for the diagonal screen size gives:

31.1781 x 1016 - 46.1543 = 31630.7953

Which is nowhere near the value of 1201mm in the table.

Perhaps I've missed something so can anyone explain how to use/apply the formulae?
