BDP S370 browse internet?

Hi,

Just bought Sony BDP S370 and wonder is there amy way to browse Internet? I've got some Internet TV subscriptions and it would be great if I can use Sony player to watch it.

I see there are some pre-defined video services, but is it possible to browse any web site with it?

At present there are no Blu-ray players on the market from any manufacturer that have an open web browser as far as I know. This is generally for a number of reasons.

Many websites are built around Flash, Java and other technologies which aren’t installed on CE Devices, thus its impossible to guarantee the experience and some sites might not even load at all!
Text input with a simple IR remote control can be a little bit frustrating beyond typing a few characters and shipping all TV's with full keyboards and mice would result in a significant increase in cost.
Surfing the web from the sofa is a very different consumer experience to surfing on a mobile device.
Traditional browsers can be quite resource hungry and TV’s (from all manufacturers!) simply don’t have the raw power of Playstation 3 for example. Indeed if you look at how some of the browser services render on a Samsung TV for example, they can be very slow.

So really at present, its quicker/simpler to access open web on a Laptop/smart phone/tablet and whilst this will I'm sure change over time, with technologies like Google TV in the US, the present 2010 models don't offer this feature.
