when trying to register and connect lovefilm with my account...

Any ideas?

Think i might have found out how to do it. Try logging onto https://internet.sony.tv/customer instead of thehttps://internet.sony.tv/lovefilm. Hope this helps

its all a bit of a mess with multiple logins for different sony sites, having to browse through forums to get any of this stuff to work. Hardly a seamless user experience - how is the average user supposed to navigate their way through this maze.

I have had the very same problem! But it is working now!

Last night and spent over an hour trying to connect with the same error message appearing. I was using my laptop at home. I called Sony support this morning and they are still looking into it..

But anyway,more importantly i tried again just a few moments ago using my work computer and for some reason it has connected!

This could be a computer antivirus or firewall issue with our home PC's blocking the communication.

Anyway it works now! But now i have to wait till tonight to give it a try...

Not the easiest of set-up's.

By the way i tried the https://internet.sony.tv/customer link which might have helped.
