dav-is10 sound problem

help!

i have had his system for 4-5 years with no problems.

HOWEVER, the only sound setting that sounds crystal clear is "omni".

all the other sound settings are muffled, especially voice.

i have 3 young kids that try to feed more thann 1 disc at a time into the header unit - six to be precise.

i managed to get them all out but the unit will no longer accept discs as there is a bar in the way.

this never bothered me as most films i own now are blu ray and are played via ps3.

HOWEVER, I have just purchased another header unit and the problem is still there, ( but now i can play discs independently of ps3 ). yay!

so, my main problem is the sound.

I have the same issue with the sound. Crystal clear on omni muffled on everything else. I bought a new head unit off of ebay and still have the problem, it must be the sub. Did you ever resolve this?
