BDV-E380. Problems after Firmware Update. menu disappeared

hey.

i've got some problems with my BDV-E380 after installing the firmware update M07.R.0331.

When i press the "OPTIONS" or "POP UP / MENU" button on my remote controll, there is no longer a menu showed on the TV screen. (without the update i was able to change surround settings and so on..)

also when i change the SOUND MODE, it doesnt always show up on the TV ("AUTO, MUSIC, NIGHT, SPORTS, 3D surround, ...").

when i push the DISPLAY button on the Remote it shows "NEO 6" on the integrated DIsplay of the E380.

when i push the OPTIONS button it shows (also on the integrated display): SUR. SET

pushing the POP UP / MENU button doesnt do anything at all.

but its quite tricky to change settings with the small display... (and i don't want to go to the main settings and quit all connections, beceause sometimes i need to check which setting fits the best to a movie)

i hope someone can help me...

It's not entirely the same but i have a similar issue, after the last firmware upgrade which i did over the internet through the box.

I have a BDV-E370 system. The whole menu bar has dissappeard, when i would normally get the menu displayed the tv just says there is no signal, it recognises something is connected, but it jsut gives me a black screen.

I can play blu ray dics as they just load up and play normally when inserted. However I can't play DVD's any more, they strt, ut the picture is jerky and the sound is out of sync. So really it makes it unwatchable.

My fist thoughtwas to try a factory rest, but the instructions only tell you how to do it from the menu bar, which i can't see

Anyb help or suggestions would be appriciated
