Sony KD-55AF9 Center Speaker mode input power

Hi,

I want to use the TV surface speaker as center speaker mode in my home theater configuration,

I only have audio decoder without amplifier, but I cannot find anything in the manual regarding the recommended amplifier power or the speaker impedance.

I found this

1- Does this mean that the TV will convert the input to suitable line and use internal amplifier to drive the surfac Speaker?

2- if so, does it mean I can simply connect line level audio without any amplification to this input and it will still work as normal?

1 TV will ask just as a passive speaker. It's designed to work with AV receiver so no worries

2 no it won't work
