Hi there

My advice is to switch the "box" off from the wall's powerpoint for a couple of minutes and switch it on again. If that fails, perform a factory reset by going to "Other Settings". That should clear the problem.

Cheers.

Hi, TV's in area needed retuning last week so I re-tuned my elderly Mum & Dad's TV & checked the hard drive recorder for updates & tuning. All seemed well although the screen seemed a bit dark. Set the box to record three programmes for them. At weekend they tried to watch the programmes & they had not recorded. They accessed the TV programme Guide to try to record another programme and programme "boxes" was blank. They changed the handset batteries today & briefly had the guide but it has now disappeared. Any clues for me before I go round. Seems like they have lost contact with the world!!
