Sony Bravia KDL-40R473A

Hello

My Sony Bravia TV, there is no picture but the sound is working fine. I have tried unplugging then plugging back in, i have held the on/off button for 60 seconds and tried all other fixes but cannot get the picture back on. I cannot access the menu as this does not show on the screen when selecting the buttons.

Any help would be appreciated

Did you make sure that you're not using a wrong input? It's better to check it as well.
You can also try a forced reset for it: https://bit.ly/39z6LmF.
And if that didn't help, then it'll need a repair most likely buddy.

Thank you for your message and i apologise for the delay responding. The solution has not worked. I think it is the backlight that has gone as when I shine a torch to the screen when dark i can see a faint picture in the background.
