Sound cuts outs randomly on new 65 inch bravia tv,could be any chanel and any time,have tried all types of settings and software is up to date

With the TV all on its own, nothing plugged into it except mains and an aerial?

Yep,just watching any random channel through virgin box,have no aerial connected just use the box

OK, if you are sure it’s not the Virgin box doing it (because it was fine on your previous TV, say), then you need to talk to whoever sold you the new TV about getting this fixed, or the TV replaced.
